OBSERVATIONS
Light is an important component when it comes to photography, it can make or break the apperance by a landslide. Hard and soft lightign gives off different types of tones and whenever you need to express a photo you choose what kind of lighting fits best. Hard lighting is for dramatic and to the point photos and diffused is more soft and calm photography. Hard photography is better is pictures, such as, for a science book or a description and diffused is for creative art pieces.

HENRI CARTIER-BRESSON

SPAIN. 1933. Valencia.

BELGIUM. 1932. Brussels.

For my oral presentation I would like to talk about Henri Cartier-Bresson, a French humanist photographer. He's very popular for photography that is candid which captured a decisive moment primarily on the genre of street photography. I enjoy Bresson's art because I'm a true believer that photography is a snapshot of a moment and by itself can mean a thousand words. I am choosing him because I see photogrpahy the same way he does.
